Architecture Merit Award Winner
This new 1,000 SF quick service coffee house on Lower Westheimer District in Houston occupies a small corner lot of 63’x100’. It includes a small full service kitchen and seats up to 38 diners including outdoor seating. The retro mid century design uses the building itself as a billboard for the coffee house business, and captures and reflects the diverse and vibrant neighborhood, and is reminiscent of the 50’s road side coffee houses.
