Tommy’s Restaurant Clear Lake

This renovation of an existing restaurant for a repeat client encompasses approximately 4,800 SF of dining area and bathrooms.

The client wanted to update an old fashioned eatery to a newer, more family friendly dining experience. The architect was charged to come up with a new look to reflect the new menu, all within a very low budget.

To achieve this new concept, spatially, and with minimum construction and maximum visual impact, some opaque barriers were removed to create an open main dining area. A new U-shaped bar with curved stainless steel panels above run the entire length, unifying the space and creating a modern look. New bright Orange Crush resin panels add liveliness to the entire restaurant and act as translucent barriers to demarcate quieter dining areas from noisier ones.

The result is hip, friendly, and fresh.
